What are the services available at Family Service Centres (FSCs)?
FSCs provide Information & Referral services, Casework, Group Work and Community Work.

Providing information about social services and government assistance.
Linking individuals and families to appropriate social services, community resources, and government services based on the assessed needs.
2. Casework Providing holistic case management and individual/family counselling.
3. Group work Bringing individuals and families with common needs together for purposeful group interaction to address their concerns and bring about positive change.
4. Community Work Tapping on community resources such as volunteers and members of the community to help individuals and families better support and empower one another.

CSWP is a practice document for the Family Service Centre (FSC) sector. It articulates the role of FSCs in the social service landscape, the standards of services to clients through clarity of the scope of FSC social work practice and its component activities and the development of required competencies; and provide understanding for stakeholders on the scope of FSCs’ work, with aim to strengthen partnerships.What is the difference between FSCs and FAM@FSCs?

FAM@FSCs focus on supporting couples who may face greater challenges in their marriage, and families showing early signs of stress. They provide the following services to these families: a) Family counselling for individuals, couples and families experiencing conflict and stress. b) Divorce support programmes for divorcing or divorced couples, as well as support programmes for the children to cope with the stress of the divorce. c) Early-risk marriage support for minor marriages, young couples, transnational marriages and remarriages.What is the difference between SSOs and FSCs?
SSOs help deliver financial assistance through schemes under the ComCare Fund and ensure prompt delivery of relevant social services in their neighborhood. They work closely with community partners to understand the needs of residents. FSCs are community-based social services that provide support for low-income and/or vulnerable individuals and families with social and emotional issues. Social Work Practitioners at the FSCs provide case management support and also partner with other agencies to coordinate holistic support for clients to help them achieve stability, self-reliance, and social mobility. In order to help these low-income and vulnerable families achieve these goals, FSCs will link families to appropriate social services through the Information and Referral service and support and strengthen families in need through Casework, Group Work and Community Work.Where can I obtain a list of FSCs?
