What are the services available at Family Service Centres (FSCs)?

FSCs provide Information & Referral services, Casework, Group Work and Community Work.

1. Information and Referral

  • Providing information about social services and government assistance.

  • Linking individuals and families to appropriate social services, community resources, and government services based on the assessed needs.

2. Casework

Providing holistic case management and individual/family counselling.

3. Group work

Bringing individuals and families with common needs together for purposeful group interaction to address their concerns and bring about positive change.

4. Community Work

Tapping on community resources such as volunteers and members of the community to help individuals and families better support and empower one another.
