How do I submit an LTVP+ application?
You can apply for LTVP under 'Spouse of Singapore Citizen' via the e-Service. There is no separate application for LTVP+. Foreign spouses of Singapore citizens who applied for LTVP will be considered for LTVP+ automatically if eligible.
What is the validity period for the LTVP+?

Your spouse will be considered for LTVP+ at the next renewal if both you and your spouse meet the eligibility criteria for LTVP+. The relevant processing fee and issuance fee would apply.
Can LTVP+ holders become Singapore permanent residents or Singapore citizens automatically?
Marriage to a Singapore citizen does not automatically qualify a foreigner for long term stay, permanent residence (PR) or citizenship in Singapore. Foreign spouses of Singapore citizens may apply for long term stay, PR or citizenship for ICA's consideration. All applications are assessed based on the prevailing guidelines which include considerations such as whether the sponsor is able to support his/her dependant's stay in Singapore and whether the marriage is genuine. All applications are considered on its own merits.
Can my foreign spouse continue to stay in Singapore if he/ she is unable to get a LTVP+?
Your foreign spouse must have a valid pass to remain in Singapore. The foreign spouse of a Singapore Citizen who is not eligible for the LTVP+ may be considered for the LTVP which allows the spouse to stay in Singapore.
