A Foreign Identification Number (FIN) is a unique 9-character alphanumeric serial code assigned to foreigners with Long-Term immigration passes in Singapore (e.g. Student's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, Employment Pass, Work Permit, etc.) issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) or the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). This FIN is not replicated.
National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) number is a unique 9-character alpha-numeric identification number, with prefix 'S' or 'T', issued to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents above the age of 15.

Examples of bearer negotiable instruments include a bill of exchange, cheques pay to “Cash”, cheques with “or bearer” not crossed out, promissory note, bearer bond, money order and postal order.
