ICs which are not collected within 6 months of the collection notification are destroyed. After the IC is destroyed, and you will be required to replace the IC and a replacement fee of $60 applies.
You need to collect your IC in person. Please only register/replace your IC if you are planning to return to Singapore within the next six months.
You may still collect your IC at the same SingPost outlet, up to three (3) days after your appointment date. Alternatively, please make another appointment to collect your IC one week after the missed appointment.For example, if your appointment is on a Monday, you will have up to Thursday to collect your IC at the same location. You can only book another appointment to collect your IC after the following Monday.
You may report and replace your lost IC via our e-service. If you are currently overseas, please report the loss of your IC immediately to prevent any misuse. You may replace your IC when you next return to Singapore.

IC registrants who have passed their 16th birthday will no longer be able to make an appointment for the biometrics enrolment. They are required to report in-person at Identity Card Unit, located at level 3 of the ICA building. Please expect a waiting time of at least two (2) hours.
You may make changes at least 3 working days before your existing appointment. Please log in to ICA e-service to change your existing appointment.
Your child will be required to complete his/her biometrics enrolment.If your child attends a government or government aided school, biometrics enrolment will be done at schools on a designated day.If your child does not attend a government or government aided school, or had missed their school biometrics registration day, please make an appointment for biometrics enrolment via ICA e-service at the ICA building after the IC application is submitted (select "Citizen > Registration for 15 years old NRIC").

If you have not received your PIN or address sticker after seven (7) days (for local addresses), please request for another PIN or sticker via the e-service. After you request for a new PIN, the original PIN will no longer be valid. For overseas addresses, the delivery time may be longer.
The lost card becomes invalid once you have applied for a replacement IC. You should use your new IC and invalidate your lost card by cutting it up.If you have not applied for the IC replacement, please submit to ICA the front and back images of your recovered IC.
