How do I withdraw my renunciation application for Singapore citizenship?
Please note that once your declaration of renunciation is registered, you will cease to be a citizen of Singapore and cannot withdraw the renunciation. There is also no provision for reinstatement once a renunciation is effected. If you have not received confirmation of your renunciation application, you may write in to ica_irr_review@ica.gov.sg to request to withdraw the application with your reasons. There will not be a refund of the fee. As Singapore does not allow dual citizenship you will also need to explain your plan of divesting yourself of your foreign citizenship.
Note: If your renunciation has already been processed, your request to withdraw will not be successful.

How do I obtain my renunciation certificate?
We will send the original Notification of cessation letter directly to the address that you have declared on your online application by registered mail once your renunciation is finalised. Please ensure you input the correct address as we do not issue duplicate copies.
What documents do I need to prepare for renunciation of my Singapore citizenship?
You will be required to submit Certified True Copies of the following documents:
