This means an Employment Claim has been commenced against you.

You should now:

1. Log in to Community Justice and Tribunals System to view the details of the claim made against you.

2. Understand the process of responding to an employment claim.

3. Understand the orders the Employment Claims Tribunals can make.

After you have done all of the above, you may now respond to the claim against you. You have 3 ways to do so:

1. Settle the claim — you and the claimant come to an agreement on the dispute.

2. Dispute the claim — you want to contest the claimant's case against you in Court.

3. File a counterclaim — you want to contest the claimant's case against you in Court and commence a case against the Claimant. Take note, however, that a counterclaim may only be filed after you and the claimant have first gone through mediation at the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management.
