What happens if my child’s iPad screen is damaged as he/she has accidentally drop it? (Hardware issue)

  1. Back up your important files to iCloud.

  2. Inform the school ICT Team for assistance.

  3. (a)Student may proceed straight to Apple Service Centre. (Average turnaround time for hardware repair/replacement is 2-3 weeks, subject to severity of damage, parts availability and customer’s promptness in responding to inquiries.

    Please remind your child to bring the new iPad to Computer Lab 3 to onboard DMA.

    OR

    (b) Student may get school's ICT team assistance to log a case to AsiaPac to activate the Fortnightly Collection Service. (Average turnaround time for hardware repair/replacement is 4 weeks, subject to severity of damage, parts availability and customer’s promptness in responding to inquiries)

The device comes with a 3-year insurance and a 3-year warranty which allows for 2 repairs or 1 replacement

The insurance coverage is only applicable to situations of damages and loss where the student has taken

precautions to safeguard the device. Loss of device through negligence is not covered by insurance.
