I would like to apply for Financial Assistant Scheme (FAS) now, how should I apply?

I have yet to receive any news of my FAS approval, should I proceed to purchase the books and uniform first?No. Do not purchase the books until the FAS approval is given otherwise school will not be able to refund money for your purchase. If I have applied for MOE FAS in my primary school, why am I not contacted by Yuan Ching Sec to collect my textbooks and uniform?The school will call the parents to arrange an appointment from 23 to 30 Dec 2022 for the collection of the textbooks and uniform. Can I purchase my own device for my child to use in school?
The school is using the Apple iPad (9 th Generation) for teaching and learning. If you would like to use
your own device rather than purchased through the school’s bulk tender, please ensure the device is
an Apple iPad which meet the following requirements:
- device should not be older than 4 years from manufacturing date
- battery should hold charge for at least 4 hours;
- comparable form factor to school’s bulk tender devices (e.g. touchscreen, physical keyboard,
- comparable performance to school’s bulk tender devices

function as Personal Learning Device.
Once assessed as suitable, the school will install the DMA (Device Management Application) to
provide a safe learning experience and prevent misuse of the device.
Can students keep the iPad after graduation?Yes, students can keep their iPad. The DMA will be uninstalled from the device when the child graduates/leaves the school.

What if the iPad Keyboard is faulty?You may bring the keyboard to the ICT Manager for assessment. If it is faulty, the school will report to AsiaPac and the vendor will collect the faulty keyboard during the fortnight collection.
How do I change the DMA Parent Option?

Changes to DMA Option will take place on the last Friday of the month.
