Corrective training is a separate regime from imprisonment. It involves the confinement of a repeat offender for a minimum period of 5 years and a maximum period of 14 years. Corrective training is imposed if the Court is satisfied that the detention is expedient for reformation of the offender, and further prevention of crime.
