What are the changes to the Family Justice Rules and Practice Directions 2024 and should I be concerned with the changes?
From 15 October 2024, the old forms (Originating Summons and Statement) are no longer in use and the new application form (called Originating Application) for submission for Grant of Probate has been updated in Probate eService.
Users only have to log in to the eService using their Singpass and key in details of the death certificate of the deceased.
The required court forms will be automatically filled in with these details.

The Probate eService currently only supports simple and straightforward Probate applications. Does the Family Justice Courts have plans to extend this service to a wider range of probate applications in the future?
