I am a lawyer appointed by the applicant to take over a Probate application they have filed in the Probate eService, how do I retrieve the relevant information?
If the applicant has drafted an application in the Probate eService but has not submitted the application yet, you will need to get the unique access code from him/her to retrieve the draft information entered by the applicant in the eService.
Login to eLitigation and navigate to the “Pre-Filing” tab. Click on the “Retrieve eService Draft” to retrieve the draft probate application that was filed by the applicant in the eService using the access code. Note this is the same button used for retrieval of Simplified Divorce eService drafts.
If a case number has already been assigned to the probate application (e.g. FC/P XX/2023), please file a Notice of Appointment of Solicitors in eLitigation instead.
