No, you will not be able to edit your scam report after you've submitted it on the ScamShield app.

• Please note that a scam report is not the same as a police report.

While we understand that you may want to make changes to your report if you remember additional details, there are a few important reasons why we don’t allow this:

1. To protect evidence:

Your report may be used by the authorities to investigate scams. Keeping it as it was first submitted helps ensure the information is accurate and trustworthy.

2. To support scam detection:

Every report helps us spot scam patterns. Once submitted, your report goes into our database to help improve ScamShield’s detection system. Changing it later could affect the system’s accuracy.

3. To keep things consistent:

Allowing edits would make it harder to track reports clearly. Having one unchangeable version ensures everything stays reliable and easy to follow.
