After you submit a report:

• ScamShield will send a scam report for review

• If the phone number or link is deemed suspicious, it will be blocked by ScamShield

• Following this, as long as your call blocking and SMS filtering permissions are setup for ScamShield, you will no longer receive any calls or SMSes from the phone number

With the evolving scam landscape, the ScamShield app relies on community reporting to detect new scams and alert authorities about it. Once a report is reviewed, suspicious phone numbers and messages will be blocked as quickly as possible to prevent users from falling victim to scammers.
