I think my number has been wrongly reported on the ScamShield App. Who can I get in touch with to get it removed?

If you think that your number might have been blocked or reported as a scam number, please first use the Check for Scams feature to check if the phone number is indeed marked as scam in the ScamShield database.

  • A phone number is only blocked if the check outcome appears red with the message "Beware, this looks like a scam."

  • Only phone numbers from government and healthcare institutions that have been whitelisted will be marked as "Safe".

  • If you get an outcome saying “Be careful, we're not sure about this one”, the number has not been marked as "Scam" or blocked.

If you believe your phone number has been wrongly marked as scam, please reach out to the ScamShield Helpline at 1799 to request an unblock. The SPF team will also be reviewing all reports and will not blacklist any contacts or numbers that are not involved in scams so please be rest assured that an incorrect report will not be flagged as scam by the SPF or cause your number to be blocked.

Hope this helps!
