On 9 August, fireworks will be set off in the heartlands, concurrent with that at The Padang. The five Heartland sites will feature fireworks displays in the evening. The fireworks displays are expected to happen between 8:15pm to 8:25pm concurrent with the fireworks medley at The Padang. The five sites will be open to the public for viewing of the fireworks, and entry will be allowed from 6.00pm onwards. On 9 August, from 5.45pm to 6.05pm, six F-16D and two F-15SG fighter jets accompanied by one A330 MRTT will execute the Fighter Island Flypast, in a delta formation, across the nation.
