How should I calculate my Government-Paid Leave (GPL) pay if my salary includes commission?
If you receive commission as a regular part of your salary (rather than as a one-off incentive), it should be included when calculating your GPL pay.
To calculate the commission component, use your average monthly commission over the 6 months immediately before your child's birth. If you did not receive any commission during that period, you may use the average over another representative period instead.
