I am a self-employed person and would like to request a reassessment of the income calculation used for my Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS) claim. How do I do this?
Self-employed persons who wish to request a reassessment of the income calculation used to determine their GPLS claim amount can do so by submitting their latest Notice of Assessment (NOA) and the reason for reassessment.
How your reimbursement is calculated
GPLS reimbursement for self-employed persons is calculated using the following formula:
(Net Trade Income × D) ÷ (W × 52 weeks)
D = Number of workdays that the parent has taken GPL
W = Weekly index
Important note
If the reassessment results in a lower claim amount than what was previously disbursed, you will be required to refund the difference.
