What is the penalty for violating a Personal Protection Order?

Under Section 63C of the Women's Charter, a person who is guilty of a family violence offence shall be liable on conviction -
(a) if the offence is aggravated - to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 18 months or to both; and
(b) in all other cases - to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
Under Section 63D, a family violence offence is arrestable for the purposes of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010.
