What should I fill in for 'Leave Days' under 'Claimable Period' for the claim submission under the Government-Paid Leave scheme?
1. Please indicate all working days that the leave was taken on.
Example
If a mother took GPML from 1 Oct 2021 to 31 Oct 2021 and works 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), you should fill in the 'Leave Days' for Oct 2021 as 21.
2. Whether Public Holidays should be included is based on the Leave Pattern
Leave taken continuously e.g. Adoption Leave for Mothers (AL) taken continuously from 11th to 12th week
Public Holidays is included if Public Holidays fall on working days.
Taken non-continuously e.g. 2 days a week
If leave was taken on public holidays that fall on working days (e.g. retail employees who may need to work on public holidays)
Note: First 8 weeks of Government-Paid Maternity Leave (GPML) and AL must be taken in one continuous block.
