What are the service standards for the processing of Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS)?

The service standards for processing of Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS) are:


14 weeks from the day of receipt of application and all relevant documents for

  • Adoption Leave for Mothers

  • Government-Paid Paternity Leave and 2013 - Shared Parental Leave (for adoptive fathers)

  • Claims for stillbirths

  • Government-Paid Maternity Benefit,

  • Government-Paid Adoption Benefit and

  • Government-Paid Paternity Benefit

  • All appeals

  • All claims that require verification of documents


10 working days from the day of submission in GPL portal

  • All other claims


Notes:

  • "Working days" refer to Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

  • Incomplete submissions or inaccurate information would result in delays in processing.

  • "All other claims" that require further information from the applicant will be processed 14 weeks from the day of receipt of all required information.

  • Claims that are pending employer's CPF contribution will take around 2 months longer to process.
