How long does LSRA take to process applications?
Answer
Applications submitted to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) relating to Certificates of Registration (individuals) may take around 3-6 weeks, and applications relating to licences (law practice entities) may take around 3-16 weeks to process, commencing when all required supporting documents and information have been received. All applications to the LSRA are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may therefore vary in terms of processing time. Applications that are incomplete, complex or submitted during the peak period from January to March may require more time to process. You may check on the status of your application in ‘myDashboard’ by logging in to LSRA e-Services. Please note that making multiple calls and enquiries to check on the status of applications may inadvertently delay the processing of applications.
