Updated by LIFESG Your child is eligible for the Child LifeSG Credits, if they meet all the following criteria:
- Your child is a Singapore citizen
- Your child is aged 0 to 12 in 2025 and 2026, regardless of birth order
To receive the LifeSG credits, your child must meet the eligibility criteria by the specific assessment dates.
Eligibility Assessment Dates
For Child LifeSG Credits 2025:
- Children born between 2013 and 2024: Eligibility must be met by 1 June 2025.
- Children born in 2025: Eligibility must be met by 1 March 2026.
For Child LifeSG Credits 2026:
- Children born between 2014 and 2025: Eligibility must be met by 1 June 2026.
- Children born in 2026: Eligibility must be met by 1 March 2027.
Eligible recipients should check the following:
- Complete birth registration: If your child’s birth registration is currently pending, complete it fully before the relevant assessment date to qualify for the credits.
- Update Singpass contact details: The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) will notify you via SMS when the credits are disbursed. To ensure you receive this notification, please verify that your mobile number is updated in your Singpass profile. Learn how to do so here.
- Confirm Child Development Account (CDA) trustee information: The credits will be disbursed to the eligible child’s CDA trustee in MSF’s records as of the eligibility assessment date.
