What should I do if I encounter an error when I upload photo image for my Singapore citizenship, Permanent Residence and/or Long-Term Visit Pass application?

You are advised to view the details of the error message. Please note that the following photo criteria:

  • image file is in jpg, jpeg, heic, heif and png file extension format

  • preferred dimension is 400 x 514 pixels

  • file size is not more than 8MB

The above criteria must be fulfilled for the photo to be accepted in ICA e-Service.

You may refer to the ICA photo guidelines for more information. Do note that your photo image will be checked by ICA according to our requirements after successful upload.
