If either parent is a Singapore citizen, he/ she can submit citizenship application for the child at ICA e-Service using his/ her Singpass. The child must possess a foreign birth certificate issued by the respective authority in the country of birth before the application can be submitted. Parents are encouraged to submit the application before the child turns one-year-old to facilitate the processing of your child's application.
