Will the passport images of other travelling companions be saved in the MyICA mobile app or mobile device which was used to generate the group QR code?
The "Scan Passport" function from the MyICA mobile app will only use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to capture the relevant information from the Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) of the passport. Images of the passport biodata page will not be saved in the MyICA mobile app or personal mobile device during this process.
