Can photocopied cargo permits be used to clear our shipments?
Traders or drivers may enjoy paperless cargo clearance if you have successfully submitted your vehicle information and the corresponding Cargo Clearance Permit (CCP) numbers for your journey via the ICA e-Service or MyICA Mobile App (under 'Submit cargo clearance').
You are also encouraged to submit supporting documents such as the Master Airway Bill and invoices via TradeNet during permit declaration. If the submission is successful, you are not required to present physical supporting documents at the counter.
Drivers and traders may still use photocopies of approved permits, together with supporting documents to clear their cargoes at the checkpoint. However, you are strongly encouraged to adopt the paperless clearance process.
