The CMPs support each jobseeker with customised career advisory and coaching sessions. The services provided by CMPs will allow jobseekers to:
- Assess their fit for certain job roles and industries based on their work experiences, skills, interests, and capabilities
- Gain access to market and industry knowledge and insights
- Learn job search strategies such as resume preparation, managing job interviews and profiling themselves to prospective employers to highlight their strengths
What is the difference between SSG and WSG?
SSG coordinates the implementation of SkillsFuture national movement, which aims to provide Singaporeans with the opportunities to develop their fullest potential throughout life, regardless of their starting points. SSG is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE).
WSG focuses on jobs and ensuring enterprises can become manpower-lean while remaining competitive. WSG is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Do I need to pay to use Career GRIT?

I am a Singapore Citizen, but my husband/wife is a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holder. He/she needs employment and/or training assistance.
Foreign spouses of Singapore Citizens on LTVP with a Letter of Consent (LOC) or Pre-approved (PLOC) can receive career assistance from centres. This includes accessing self-help career resource terminals at WSG’s Careers Connect and receiving job search assistance from Career Coaches.
What are Career Matching Providers (CMPs)?
WSG has appointed two private sector placement providers as Career Matching Providers (CMPs) to help expand and complement existing Career Matching Services provided by WSG and NTUC's Employability and Employment Institute (e2i).
The CMPs strengthen WSG and e2i's overall capacity to serve more local jobseekers who are unemployed and actively looking for jobs, or seeking career transitions and professional career guidance.
Can jobseekers request to use the services of Career Matching Providers (CMPs) instead of WSG’s Careers Connect or NTUC’s e2i centres?
Yes, jobseekers who do not have an assigned career coach with WSG’s Careers Connect or NTUC’s e2i centres can request to use the services of CMPs. The assignment of CMP is subject to eligibility criteria.Are the services provided by Career Matching Providers (CMPs) chargeable?
