[Ethical Dilemma #1] Can I lend money to my supervisee if he needs it urgently?
At times, we may find ourselves facing ethical dilemmas in our work. Ethical issues are often complex — in which honoring one situation may result in conflicts in other related situations.
To support you in navigating such situations, our team has come up with an Ethical Decision-Making Series. This series serves as a refresher of the ethical decision-making steps introduced during the VCO Training, with added considerations for common scenarios that we may encounter in our line of work.
As you go through the series, remember that these guidelines are not exhaustive and may vary depending on individual comfort levels. Take some time to reflect on your personal boundaries and what feels right for you 😌
And remember — you’re not alone in this! When you face ethical dilemmas, do reach out and work closely with your Lead Case Manager for guidance and support 🤝
Thank you for walking this journey with our supervisees 🌱
