Conversely, housing instability or homelessness may increase stress, disrupt rehabilitation efforts, and elevate the risk of reoffending.
Identifying accommodation needs early and connecting supervisees with the appropriate housing and community resources is important. Depending on the supervisee's circumstances, this may involve exploring family accommodation, referring them to HDB or Social Service Offices (SSOs), engaging Family Service Centres (FSCs), or linking them with community partners that provide transitional accommodation and support.
