My partner and I aren't married but have a child together. Can we visit him in prison?

Updated by SPS

Without a Marriage Certificate to prove your relationship with the inmate, you may apply as a friend. For your child's application, do ensure to attach his/her Birth Certificate as documentary proof in the visit request form.

You may submit the Visit Request Application Form using your Singpass account here:

https://go.gov.sg/vrfsingpass

If you do not have a Singpass account, you may submit the Visit Request Application Form here:

For applicants below 21 years old and without documentary proof of relationship with the inmate, the parent or guardian is required to submit the Consent Form on his or her behalf here: https://form.gov.sg/63804b239e87340012a166bd

Please note that all visit applications will be processed within 15 working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. You will be notified of the outcome via SMS at your declared mobile phone number.
