What is a Case Management Conference (CMC)?

Updated by SGCOURTS

A Case Management Conference (or “CMC”) is a pre-trial proceeding convened before a Deputy Registrar (who is also a judge). Parties will be guided and given the opportunity to discuss whether the case can be settled through mediation. If a case is not settled, parties will be given directions for documents to be filed and to prepare for trial.
