Will my child have a criminal record after he has been found guilty in the Youth Court?

The Children and Young Persons Act 1993 has been amended and with effect from 2025, a youth offender's criminal record will be considered spent when he/she successfully completes Youth Court Orders. This means youth offenders can lawfully declare that they do not have a criminal record.
