What supporting document(s) and information are needed to apply for special consideration due to illness?
If you are applying for special consideration (SC) due to illness, your application must be supported by a medical document containing a diagnosis by a qualified medical professional registered with the Singapore Medical Council.
The medical document(s) must be dated before or on the same day as the affected examination date(s) to certify that you were unwell while taking the examination or were unfit to take the examination and must cover the assessment and examination date(s)/period.
Supplementary information on how the medical condition affected your performance during the examination must be provided if you were unwell when sitting for the examination and/or unable to sit for the examination.

Medical documents submitted without the above information will not be accepted. The document(s) should also not be encrypted with password(s) when the SC application is submitted.
