What supporting document(s) and information need to be submitted during an application for special consideration due to bereavement?

If you are applying for special consideration (SC) due to bereavement, your application must be supported by the death certificate of the deceased. Please indicate the relationship of the deceased to you as supplementary information.

Bereavements that occurred six months or more before the examination date(s) will not be accepted.

If you are a school candidate, please approach your school for assistance in your application.

If you are a private candidate, please refer to this page for examples of information that need to be provided when you submit your SC application via Candidates Portal.

To ensure that the document(s) submitted with your SC application can be received by us, please do not encrypt them with password(s).
