Access Arrangements (AA) are granted by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board to candidates with special educational needs (SEN), including those with specific physical and learning disabilities, to enable them to sit national examinations without affecting what is being assessed. AA is extended to these candidates because standard examination conditions may result in them receiving an assessment that does not reflect how they are truly able to perform, or them being unable to take the examinations altogether.
