While Access Arrangements (AA) caters to candidates with specific physical and learning disabilities, special consideration (SC) considers situations where candidates sat for the national examinations under adverse circumstances, such as illness or bereavement, or who missed the examinations with valid reasons.

Under SC, a grade will be projected for the affected students by considering multiple sources of data, including the student's performance in the other papers for that affected subject that he/she sat for in the national examinations. This ensures that the grades awarded are as accurate and fair as possible.

If you have received AA for an examination paper due to a medical condition, you will not be eligible to apply for SC for sitting the paper with that same condition.
