These are entirely up to you. The app still scans your messages without them:

• Display Over Other Apps: Shows a warning on top of whatever you are using, so an alert doesn't get buried in your notifications while you are using other apps.

• Contact Access: Lets the app distinguish saved contacts from unknown senders to cut down on extra alerts. Suspicious content is still flagged either way, even from someone in your contacts. Your contact list is read on your phone and never sent anywhere.

• Analytics: Shares aggregated information about the kinds of scam patterns the app is seeing, so we can improve how well it catches new tactics. Your message contents are not included.
