The app is built to run efficiently in the background. Battery use depends on the protection mode you choose:

• Standard Protection: Full scanning on any supported phone, with minimal battery impact.

• Enhanced Protection: Adds extra sensitivity for subtler scams that avoid obvious keywords. Uses slightly more battery and needs a newer phone with more RAM; the app will tell you if yours supports it.
