What documents are required to register for a Muslim marriage with ROMM?
For marriage application between Singaporean/Permanent Resident and a foreigner (current or former work permit holder (including Training Work Permit Holder)
You may refer to our website at OMJ | Make a declaration with ROMM (under the header: Preparation checklist for in-person declaration) for the documents. All documents must be originals or certified true copies including your identity documents and any documents issued in a foreign country. Letter of approval from Work Permit Office, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), if your spouse-to-be is a work permit or ex-work permit holder (including Training Work Permit Holder).
Letter of recommendation issued by the respective local registries of marriages/Islamic bodies for Malaysian, Indonesian and Bruneian citizens (not more than 90 days from date of solemnisation).
