Who can apply for a marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages?
To apply for a marriage with ROMM, both parties must:
You must both be Muslims
If either of you is a Muslim convert, you must first obtain a permanent conversion card from MCAS (for conversions within Singapore). For conversion outside Singapore, you must provide conversion documents and endorsement letter from MUIS.

You must both be at least 21 years old
You cannot be currently married to any other person, or have any existing marriage application with ROM or ROMM
Any previous marriage must be legally dissolved
Divorcees intending to remarry will be required to disclose details of any existing maintenance orders (including promptness of payments if applicable) as part of your statutory declarations
