How do I report a death that has occurred overseas?
If a Singapore citizen or permanent resident had passed on overseas, you should register the death and get a death certificate from the foreign authorities in the country where the person had passed on. You can then report the death to ICA with the foreign death certificate to update ICA's records.
If you are also bringing ashes home, please refer to this webpage.
Please refer to ICA website for more information on Reporting a Death that Occurred Overseas.
