What is the Relevant Period (RP) under the Government-Paid Leave Scheme?

Updated by MSF

The Relevant Period (RP) refers to the 12-month period within which Government-Paid Leave entitlements are tracked and consumed. By default, the RP follows the calendar year (1 January to 31 December). However, employers and employees may mutually agree to use a different 12-month period.

If you are self-employed, or if no mutual agreement has been reached with your employer, the RP will default to the calendar year.
