What has changed in the LPA digital signing process from August 2026?

Updated by MSF

Previously, Donors and Certificate Issuers (CIs) digitally signed the LPA within OPGO by scanning a Singpass QR code to sign. From August 2026, the signing step is completed in Singpass Sign Portal instead.

The Donor and CI will each be redirected from OPGO to Singpass Sign Portal, scan once to log in, review the LPA and mark the required section as reviewed, then scan again to sign. After both signatures are completed, the CI returns to OPGO to submit the LPA application for registration. The core difference is that signing is now done through a guided Singpass Sign Portal journey, rather than directly within OPGO.

The earlier OPGO certification steps remain largely unchanged: the CI still retrieves the LPA using the Donor’s NRIC/FIN and access code, verifies and reviews the LPA with the Donor, and completes the CI declaration in OPGO.
