I want to become the Child Development Account (CDA) trustee for my child, but my spouse who is the current trustee, did not agree to make this change. What can I do?
If your spouse, who is the current Child Development Account (CDA) trustee, has not agreed to change the trustee to you, you may consider the following options:
1. Court's Decision: If you are undergoing divorce proceedings, you must obtain a court order granting you sole care and control of your child before requesting a change of CDA trustee. The parent with care and control will be appointed as the CDA trustee. Please submit a request through go.gov.sg/contact-bb.
2. MSF Assistance: If you are unable to contact your spouse or if they are incarcerated, you may use the same form above. We will review your request and provide further assistance.
