If the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) is being utilised over a period of 12 months, do I have to wait until after the very last day of the GPL before I can submit the claim online?

No, you are not required to wait until the completion of your entire leave entitlement before submitting a claim. You have flexible options for claim submission.

Submission Options

  • Single Comprehensive Claim: You may submit one single claim to conclude all GPL days taken after completing your entire leave period

  • Multiple Claims: You can submit multiple claims by adding leave days onto previously approved claims, provided they are based on leave dates already taken

  • Partial Claims: You may submit claims for portions of your leave that have been completed, even if you have remaining leave entitlement yet to be utilised

The only requirement is that the specific leave dates included in each claim submission must have already been taken and completed. You cannot claim for future leave dates, regardless of whether they fall within your approved leave period.
