How do I submit a Sharing Arrangement (SA)?

After your child's date of birth or Formal Intent to Adopt (FIA) date, submit your SPL sharing details during the Birth Registration process or via the Manage SPL Sharing Arrangement Service in LifeSG.

By default, each parent will be allocated half the SPL entitlement in LifeSG.

Change your sharing arrangement in LifeSG

·       Within 4 weeks of birth/FIA date: No documentation of employer agreement required.

·       After 4 weeks: Written agreement from employer must be submitted.
