How does the In-Principle Approval (IPA) process work?

Updated by MSF

When parents submit an Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) application, MSF will assess the family's circumstances based on available information. Parents and the SCCs will be informed via email regarding the child's subsidy tier based on income and the Start-Up Grant (SUG) eligibility. MSF will send an email via SSNet One to the relevant SCC for confirmation of enrolment. The IPA has a validity period of 6 months from its issuance date. MSF will honour the stated SCFA tier, even if household circumstances change. SCCs should not collect upfront payments from parents if they have IPAs.
