What other moves are the Government making to ensure Assistive Technology (AT) remains affordable?
The Assistive Technology Fund (ATF) provides subsidies of up to 90% for PwDs who require AT devices. Subsidy rates are regularly reviewed to ensure that AT remains affordable.
Open Door Programme (ODP)-registered employers can also apply for grants and employment support services such as the Job Redesign Grant to support redesigning of jobs such as purchases of equipment (including AT devices) and workplace modification.
PwDs who require more financial support in purchasing AT devices may approach SG Enable for further assistance.
