Is my child eligible for the Large Families Scheme if I am a single unwed parent?

Updated by MSF
Government benefits that support the growth and development of children are given to all children regardless of the marital status of their parents. Children of single unwed parents are eligible for the Large Family MediSave Grant and increased Child Development Account First Step Grant under the Large Families Scheme, which are intended to defray child-raising expenditures such as healthcare costs and preschool fees. Single unwed parents will not be eligible for the Large Family LifeSG Credits.
